His journey from national aerobatic champion to founding president of both the United States Air Sports Federation (U.S.A.S.F.) and the World Air Sports Federation (W.A.S.F.) represents more than personal accomplishment—it is a testament to what disciplined vision, relentless advocacy, and a commitment to athlete safety can build over decades of service.

Under his leadership, Team USA achieved historic milestones including a World Rank of 26 and a #1 Pan-American standing. His architectural contributions to organizational frameworks have created pathways for athletes at every level to compete, grow, and excel with institutional support that previously did not exist for American air sports participants.

As founding president of U.S.S.S.F.E.T.C., Amidi brings the same standard of excellence that defined his competitive career—now focused on ensuring that every athlete who takes to the skies does so with equipment tested to the highest possible standard.
